you can even search for good & quality content for your next shoot.

there are so many different advantages of Instagram over another app, but here we’re talking about how to capture better Instagram photos.

so hope you remember back in 2010, we don’t have a so-called AI camera in our smartphone, that simply means we don’t have any portrait mode or night mode.

that’s the reason we’re getting blurry and less sharp images at that time.

but right now, every common guy owns an in budget smartphone or camera which contains very good megapixels and all the latest camera modes and features.

as you know I’m writing this post to teach you how to capture better Instagram photos, but I think most of the users don’t own a DSLR camera.

so I’m sharing some important tips to capture better photos with your smartphone camera.

if you own a DSLR camera, then it’s very good, you don’t need any portrait mode 🙂

now without talking more about it, let’s get started…

If you’re trying to schedule a shoot without a plan then there are more chances that you’re not going to succeed.

so before you shot always PLAN first.

the rule of thirds

Rule of thirds is a very important and unique technique that helps you to capture images like a professional photographer.

The rule of thirds also helps you to capture eye-catching images without doing so many things.

if you don’t know anything about the rule of thirds then you can read our in-depth article on the rule of thirds…

Know the right time

The right times are very rare for example, the golden hour…

these kinds of hours are a very important and rare moment of every single day, where you can capture some best shots without doing so many new things.

just pick your camera and shoot, that’s it…

as I said earlier golden hours are the best time to capture some good shots…

and now you know something about golden hours, hope you understand that natural lights are far better than custom lights…

so always try to find natural lights instead of creating.

Be creative

Creativity is very important if you want to capture something eye-catching and if you’re a real artist…

so always try to create a shot as an artist, these little things help you to think by yourself to do photography on another level.

if you don’t know how to be creative then follow these steps, which helps me to capture some outstanding shots…

create an account on Instagram ( hope you already have… )

follow some amazing Photographers.

see what they’re really capturing ( you can search on Pinterest to find some cool ideas ) and know what you’re missing

try to capture the same shot with some more creativity and boom…

Learn how to edit

Now you know how to capture better Instagram images…

but that’s not enough if you want to grow your Instagram account.

after capturing a stunning image you must need to know how to edit your images to the next level.

a little bit of editing can make your image look more good or more bed, haha.

so you must need to learn how to edit your images.

some points like never overexposed your images while editing and managing the color combination etc…

These kind points you need to remember while you’re editing your images…

Manual settings of the camera

if you’re using a DSLR camera then this is a very important point for you which you need to learn.

but now a day, every new smartphone contains a manual/professional mode, where you can manage exposure, ISO and shutter speed.

but compared to the DSLR camera smartphone camera doesn’t contain more features, but here we’re looking for these three main features, ISO, shutter speed and exposure…

let’s understand the basic workflow of these three main features…

  • ISO
    • so ISO is a feature we use to manage the light which reflects your DSLR camera’s sensor while you are capturing an image.
  • Shutter-speed
    • It refers to the amount of a time the camera shutter is open to capture a particular object.
  • Aperture
    • basically, The aperture is the size of the opening in the lens through which light is allowed to pass whenever the shutter is opened – the larger the aperture, the more light passes through.

If you want to deep dive into these topics and want to explore some intresting features of your DSLR camera then please follow our in-depth article on how to use DSLR camera: the ultimate guide for beginners.

Bonus point

this point is optional for you, you can skip this point if you’re only trying to capture better Instagram photos…

this point is for those who want to grow their Instagram account with better photographs.

remember one thing, never chase for likes on Instagram…

if you want to grow your Instagram account then the best way is to create some beautiful content.

means always try to find the right shot and post images with a proper plan.

currently, I’m sharing two images per week on Instagram, that means I need to capture two beautiful shot every week.

that sounds good, right?

so give yourself a goal or create a plan and just try to execute…

you can even check the statistics and find which hashtag is doing better, the best time to post the image, etc…

that’s all from my side, I hope you guys now know some beautiful ways to capture better Instagram photos.

thank you for reading this article, have a good day 🙂
