Macro leads to large things. Micro covers to small things and both types of photography helps you to make a small subject look big with a good bokeh effect.

before we start, the first thing you need to learn is manual focus.

if you know manual focus then you can easily able to capture good macros with your prime lens.

currently, there are many different prime lenses are available and not every single lens contains quality autofocus, so it’s better to learn manual focus.

How to learn manual focus?

the only thing you need to do is practice.

capture as many images as you can, once you master manual focus then you can even try it with manual mode.

if you don’t know manual mode, then remember it’s a very crucial part of your photography career if you don’t know how to use manual mode then here you go…

Ways to capture macro photography

here are some cheap and also unique ways to do awesome macro photography with your DSLR camera.

1. if you own a 50MM lens then…

50mm lenses are very helpful to catch macro within a minute.

really !! within a minute?? yeah, that’s true.

all you need to do is “reverse the Lens”.

this trick is very helpful and free to use if you own a 50mm lens ( or any other 😀 ).

just remove your 50mm lens from the camera and turn it around so that the first side of the lens, which normally meets the subject, is challenging the camera.

some people say it’s very risky, if you’re one of them then you can even use extention tubes to capture macro shots.

2. play with natural lights

remember when you’re capturing macro shots then somehow you’re also looking for some good bokeh effects.

and this kind of effect gives better picture quality when the background lights are better.

so use sunlight to capture macro shots with excellent bokeh effects.

3, Generate fake bokeh

this is the third and not any kind of macro photography tip, but this thing definitely helps you to shoot macro shots.

just use your laptop and find some good bokeh background.

after finding a good image put your subject in front of your laptop screen and shoot, that’s all you need to do.
