This is the first and very easy way that you need to know and learn to gain more attention to your Instagram images or posts.
When I was young, I witnessed many noob photographers who thought capturing sunset and sunrise images was enough to become a PRO photographer.
But that’s not the case, especially if you own a DSLR camera.
But these days, any average smartphone camera contains better picture quality or at least a similar photo quality as a DSLR.
So you need to learn how to use ISO, shutter speed, exposure, and that kind of thing.
Also, how to shoot images in low light and make some cool bokeh effects with your existing DSLR camera or any other kind of camera which you might have.
There is a long way to go from understaning all the settings and calling yourself a PRO.
You have to learn and experience a lot of things before calling yourself a PRO.
If you don’t know, then here are some resources which you need to follow and learn quickly ASAP…
- Easy way to understand ISO and shutter speed
- Early photography mistakes to avoid
- What is Depth of field?
- Understand Aperture
- Do Off-camera flash photography with an example
Take some serious challenges
This is one of my favourite points in the matter of improving your photography skills without getting tired of your camera.
You can just go to Pinterest and search for a 30-day photography challenge.
Pick any one of them you like and do some practice, no matter what happens, capture one image daily to achieve your goal.
And always try to give your best.
This thing helps you in many different ways, but I found two useful ways.
Number 1 is you don’t always need to search for quality content to post on your Instagram feed, and another thing is that you’re constantly learning something new with your camera.
All this experience and trials helps you to get better with your photography.
Post real content
This is very important; you don’t need to post images every single day (or maybe one post per 2 days ).
But posting good content consistently is very important, it builds trust with your followers, and they also like to see your images.
So, always try to create quality content, not quantity content.
Follow more hashtags
These days, you can even follow some cool hashtags if you want to grab more attention for your type of photography or your work.
You can just find some cool and average volume tags and follow them.
If you like some images, then you can comment also (that counts as a plus point ), You need to engage as well, as without any engagement, it’s not good for your profile.
Also, if you follow more hashtags, then you can easily find some viral images related to that hashtag.
Just try to capture similar kinds of images which are trending and attach those tags to your feed.
And it helps you to gain more likes and views if your images are really good enough.
Like real content
If you like someone’s work, then like them, comment and appreciate their work.
You can even share their post on your Instagram story further & mention that person ( that’s a very good thing ).
This way, once you publish something amazing, then 8/10 people will share your work back( if it’s good enough ).
Also, if they own some fan-follow kinda page, then who knows, your work can get featured on their Instagram stories and news feed.
The main point is to just be as real as possible; you can even comment on some good images.
You can even try to capture images similar to their image and learn techniques or skills from them ( if you’re looking for some creative ideas ), or if you can’t capture it somehow, then tell them how they do it.
They can help you to improve your photography performance in a lot of ways.
And all this stuff helps you to gain more relation and trust between you two guys.
And those kind of users are known as real users.
These days, there are many websites available that pay you for free likes and followers.
But that is not a genuine way, this way, you don’t get real users, so don’t do this kind of stuff and save your money.
You should work on getting genuine followers who like your work and appreciate it.
Don’t worry if there are not many followers on your profile in the beginning just keep on posting your work and improving.
Stay active
This is the last but not the least point which helps you to gain more followers on your Instagram profile.
Just stay active on your Instagram.
If you post something new and someone likes your post and comments, then reply to the comment as soon as possible.
If they mention you on their stories or feed, then just mention them in your stories if possible.
This kind of so-called weird tactic is very important to gain more followers and build trust among them.
Search for more photography influencers and follow them, if you observe them, then you’ll find this point, which I mentioned earlier.
You can even keep up with the trends by following other photography influences.
So that’s all you need to do, and remember to grow your Photography On Instagram without spending money and in less time.
