Capturing First Time With Sony Alpha 6000 & Kit Lenses

As you know, recently I just bought my new SLR camera Sony Alpha 6000.

So After understanding the default settings and doing some simple indoor shoots, I’m really excited & waiting to take my camera out and shoot something amazing.

I just want to see the difference between my old Canon 1300D and this beast.

and yeah, if you’re looking for a short answer then this camera is worth every single penny, it’s a great mirrorless camera at a cheap price.

and as you know during this pandemic, it’s very hard to go outside and shoot.

but but but, I finally get a chance to go outside and shoot some amazing Maternity photoshoot for my sister.

with my Sony Alpha, I got two kit lenses, one 16-50mm and another one is 55-210mm, the zoom lens.

now without talking more about it, let’s check out all the images which I captured using this camera.

Capturing First Time With Sony Alpha 6000 & Kit Lenses

so today, I’m going to share some of my favorite shots which I captured using Sony Alpha 6000 kit lenses.

as you know these days, every single photographer loves to capture in RAW.

and using this camera I just captured many different shots.

so in this article, I’m going to share some of the best and edited versions of my images which I captured using this camera.

I edited all these images using my smartphone, the application I used to edit all these images: Lightroom, Snapseed & Lens Distortions.

Captured using 16-50mm lens

here are some of the beautiful images, which I captured (first time) outdoor using this lens.

For your information, these all images are compressed but captured RAW.

so as of now, I don’t have any experience or knowledge to find better apps to edit RAW images for free :), so I simply converted all images in JPEG format and edited.

If you know any application to edit RAW images, then comment below.

Quick Update

I found a couple of apps & software to edit RAW files for free, so make sure you check them out…

now, let’s talk about the images…

If you’re asking me about the settings, then I captured these images using manual mode.

and as you can see, all images are captured at the same place so the camera settings which I used to create these images are Aperture: F5.6, shutter speed: 1/650, and ISO of 640.

To edit these images, I used Lightroom + Lens Distortions (to give a better artificial light source).

Using Zoom Lens: 55-210mm lens

now let’s check out some of the best images which I captured using the zoom lens.

Before this shoot, I’ve never ever tried to shoot with any sony + zoom lens.

but if you’re a newbie and shooting first time with zoom lenses, then you need to go far away from your subject.

yeah, it’s quite ok with 55-210MM but for 300MM+ lenses, you need to do some real hard work to capture better shots.

that’s the reason zoom lenses are best for wildlife photography, you can capture any creature with ease.

F6.3, shutter-speed of 1/4000, ISO: 1000

F5.6, shutter-speed of 1/4000, ISO: 600

F5.6, shutter-speed of 1/3333, ISO: 400
